Jan moved to Robertson County 30 years ago (1981) when she married her husband Larry Wilks, who grew up here and came back to practice law. They have 2 grown sons who graduated from Robertson County schools and are now in college "mode".
She graduated from UT Knoxville and had a career in retail for several years before John was born. While her boys were young, she was a stay at home mom. When her youngest, Adam, started school, Jan worked part time as a substitute teacher and teacher assistant. When they took off to new adventures and challenges, she decided to take the same route. She got her license in 2010 and it has been an exciting career move. The people who work here have been great and we work well together as a team and in support of one another.
